Lloyds British has just completed a series of Lifting and Slinging courses for Petro Canada in Damascus, Syria.
As a major supplier to the oil and gas sector in the Middle East, Petro Canada chose Lloyds British because they wanted a service partner who understood their Industry and had extensive off and
on-shore working.
The courses were delivered to a wide range of employees and focused on the planning and execution of lifting activities onsite, especially using specialist lifting equipment.
Steve Downing Group Safety and Training Director said "our branch in Cairo was able to deliver the training courses within the tight time schedules set by the client but we were also able to offer them the opportunity to use our dedicated training resource in Suez, if ever needed in the future".
Lloyds British are currently experiencing unprecedented growth in the Middle East, not only for their Training and Consultancy services but in all areas of their Engineering and Sales divisions and are already regarded as the Lead Inspection body by most major companies.
