Lloyds British Testing Ltd - Lloyds British Testing Proving House

The picture illustrates the Anchor and Chain made for the Titanic leaving Lloyds British Testing Proving House after it had been tested. The Chain on the Anchor would have been tested to ensure it was of a safe working load.

The anchor and chain then made its way to Liverpool for the maiden voyage of the fateful Titanic.

On the picture the Foreman and families of the Lloyds British workers gathered to send off the anchor.
