Lloyds British Testing recently modernised various makes of crane with our generic safety devices.

We fitted Drop weight Ultimate limit switches to cut all power to crane in the event of a raise working limit failure to protect the equipment from damage.

The ultimate limit switches were manufactured by Wigan Depot and without modification fitted to various makes of crane including, Demag, Street, Morris & Carruthers.

We fitted and calibrated Load limiters to prevent overload of crane. Safe working loads up to 30tonne. Calibrated to 110% Safe Working Load.

The overload devices were of a rope clamp design and fitted without modification to various makes of crane including, Demag, Street, Morris & Curruthers.
