Lloyds British recently undertook a job a Thorpe Park in Surrey. The job was to lift the Lady Diana boat back into the water at Thorpe Park after the boat had spent the winter out of the water having a refit. The boat weighed 40 tonne.
Ainscough supplied the craneage and appointed person and Lloyds were asked to supply the cruciform lift equipment to undertake the job. The equipment had to be at Thorpe Park for 7.30am in the morning with equipment coming from Lloyds branches at Romsey, London and Hayes.
The job went smoothly.
